Great Raft Brewing

Great Raft is a production craft brewery based in Shreveport, Louisiana. This popular brewery produces a wide variety of beers from Belgian ales to German lagers that complements the culture and climate of the southern region. It produces three year round flagship beers namely, the Southern Drawl, Reasonably Corrupt and Commotion, plus seasonal brews as well as special releases.

 

Parish Brewing Co.

Located in the heart of Broussard, Parish Brewing was founded in 2008. This independent brewery uses traditional methods in making its unique brew from German, Belgian and North American malted barley and other grains and the finest hops from the Pacific Northwest and Europe. It produces year round beers including the Canebrake Louisiana Wheat Ale, Envie American Pale Ale and South Coast Session Amber Ale, as well as annual and limited brews.

 

Abita Brewing Company

Found 30 miles north of New Orleans, Abita Brewing was founded in Abita Springs in 1986. This popular brewery has come a long way since it started with only 1,500 barrels of beer produced in its first year, it now brews over 130,000 barrels of beer and 5,000 barrels of root beer. This award winning brewery has ranked 15th in the top producing craft breweries in the country and 22nd overall according to the Brewers Association in 2013.

 

NOLA Brewing Company

New Orleans Lager and Ale Brewing Company, or more popularly known as NOLA, produced its first craft beer in 2009. This brewery was founded by Kirk Coco years after New Orleans was hit by Hurricane Katrina. In making their unique brews, they follow four guiding principles arranged according to the most important: 1) beer, 2) team, 3) community, and lastly, 4) profit.

 

Bayou Teche Brewing

On St. Patrick’s Day in 2009, the Knott brothers, Karlos, Byron and Dorsey, opened Bayou Teche in Arnaudville. The brewery was founded on a simple dream and that is create craft beers that complement the cuisine and lifestyle of Cajuns and Creoles. Its flagship beer, the LA-31 Bière Pâle, won the Silver Medal in the World Beer Championships in 2013.

 

Tin Roof Brewing Company

Tin Roof Brewing is a microbrewery founded by two childhood friends in Baton Rouge.
